A major struggle young business owners face…
In Gary Halberts‟ book, Boron Letters which is actually a compilation of money-making lessons he wrote to his son in form of letters, he wrote:
“The very first thing you must come to realize is that you must become a student of market. Not products. Not techniques. Not Copywriting. Not how to buy space or whatever. Now, of course, all of these things are important and you must learn about them. But the first and most important thing you must learn is what people want to buy.”
I made a post earlier about a book I picked up from Expertnaire product marketplace, “How to Turn Yourself into A Live Breathing Cash Machine” of which, In my most honest opinion, everyone should have a copy, YOUNG business owners as a matter of precision.
What does it mean to be a student of market really?
It simply means to keep your eyes open for opportunities about what people are buying and what people are looking to buy.
Toyin Omotoso, the author, took his time to outline, in an intense scale, the right ways of leveling up your small business in other to record outstanding outputs. The fourth chapter intrigued me the most, detailing the right approach to marketing and sales.
